After discovering diving in 2006 I was hooked! From that point on I spent as much time in and on the water as possible.  Growing up next to the shark filled waters of South Africa I was able to continue my diving experiences fairly easily. I  became involved with the cage diving and shark conservation industry, interacting with such magnificent and misunderstood creatures is where I first began to realize and appreciate the value of film in diving and conservation activities. The process of documenting their behavior and capturing the beauty and unknown of the underwater world is invaluable in helping to educate people out of their commonly held misconceptions.

After spending a year on the African east coast completing my Divemaster course, I found myself back on Koh Tao, and by pure luck I began what can only be described as one of the fun and most fulfilling study internships with The Film Company.

Becoming an underwater videographer has satisfied both my love for the ocean as well as film and photography....
